Only data collected via approved hardware is recognized for world records and regional qualifiers. Consumer-grade wearables (e.g., standard smartwatches) are insufficient for WMC telemetry requirements.

Must be paired with conductive paste compliant with WMC Standard 11A. Dry-sensor readings are penalized by a 5% confidence modifier.

The baseline standard. Optical heart rate monitors (PPG) are banned due to latency; ECG accuracy via chest strap is mandatory.

Must be transmitting over ANT+ directly to the judge's terminal. Bluetooth LE transmission introduces unacceptable latency.
