Judging Criteria

WMC officials do not score athletes. Algorithms score athletes. Officials monitor for hardware anomalies and physical fouls.

The Role of the Judge

Two officials are assigned per athlete in live events:

• Telemetry Official: Monitors the real-time data feed for artifacting (sensor errors) vs. actual physiological spikes. They have the authority to call a "Hardware Reset" if connection is lost.
• Somatic Official: Watches for micro-movements. While posture is not scored, intentional movement to manipulate heart rate (e.g., Valsalva maneuvers) is heavily penalized.
